Changes[edit | edit source]
Capturing[edit | edit source]
- New factors for catching. Depending on the Pokémon's IVs and level, it's more aggressive. Depending on how much consecutive attacks it does, that's how good it is.
- Some Pokémon have a trick or two up their sleeve. While very sparse, certain Pokémon have new ways of taking down your Pokéballs. For example, Clauncher can shoot them down.
- Master Ball. Enough said. This Pokéball will catch a Pokémon without fail. It's a very, very rare Pokéball to get.
- New berries. Each berry has a different property than usual. See below for info.
Berry | Function |
---|---|
Bluk | Increases catch XP by 2×. |
Wepear | Makes Pokémon harder to catch by ×0.5, but increases their IVs upon catching. Note that the Pokémon will reject this if they'd become 3-star Pokémon. |
Chilan | Makes Normal-type Pokémon much easier to catch, by ×1.75. There's a berry like this for each type. Note that feeding it to any other Pokémon will result in a ×1.25 multiplier. |
Items[edit | edit source]
Aside from berries, the list of new items include:
Item | Function |
---|---|
??? | ??? |
- Incense has its 2x effectiveness as its standard effectiveness. Enough said, you'll be getting more Pokémon.
Eggs[edit | edit source]
- You can now throw away eggs you don't need. Egg clutter is bad.
- Extra infinite Egg Incubators! You now get one every 10 levels starting at Level 20.
- A new egg system. Eggs are determined by their pattern and color of spots, which shows what type of Pokémon they can hatch. They range from 2, 5, and 10 kilometers. The more kilometers it takes, the better the hatches get.
Other[edit | edit source]
- Nearly all Pokémon are in the wild. Legendary/Mythical Pokémon (minus the Lake trio), Baby Pokémon, and Smeargle aren't available in the wild.
- Regional Pokémon are now worldwide. This is to discourage spoofing. By making them worldwide, what's the point of spoofing anymore? This, however, doesn't prevent the fact that some are still locked behind certain conditions, though less severe- for example, Lunatone can only be found at nighttime.
- Some Pokémon have less ridiculous requirements. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Trade-evolve Unova Pokémon now can take 125 Candy to get instead of 200
- Spritzee no longer evolves when using an Incense, rather being fed 25 treats
- Larvesta only evolves at Sunny weather, with its Candy requirement going from 400 to 50.
- Noibat can instantly evolve when becoming Best Buddies with; it still has a ridiculous 400 Candy requirement, but at least it's easier to get
- Radius is now doubled. Specifically, it's the exact same from the pandemic bonuses as to prevent people from endangering themselves.
New Pokémon[edit | edit source]
New Lines[edit | edit source]
Pokémon | Pokédex Description |
---|---|
Bounes Bounty Pokémon |

Denkinci Copter Pokémon |

Octulate Insulation Pokémon |
This Pokémon's bouncy skin absorbs electricity at will, and exerts it to paralyze others, just as an Octillery would use ink to retreat. The Pokémon itself also is crackling with electricity that it disperses when entering a pool of water, capable of electrocuting one yard worth of water should it be thrown in. There was once a belief that any electricity an Octulate absorbed will increase its voltage, but after fishermen witnessed one being shocked by many Tynamo while underwater, the theory has since been disproved. |
Fishipeer Rippling Pokémon |
Fishipeer's true appearance is yet to be determined, only appearing as a shadowy mass that can shapeshift at will; it is somewhat fluid in appearance. Appearing in populated oceans, Fishipeer's shadow inches closer to boats before they flip over the boat with their shadowy powers. It is unknown what happens to those who don't survive this Pokémon's attacks; records say they are snatched into its "body". Attempts to research this enigma has resulted in scientists going missing, along with this Pokémon. |
Lurcatio Guidance Pokémon |
A renowned pet since the ancient times, Lurcatio not only possesses 360° vision, but a strange orb where all their barks come from. Not just that, but they produce a secondary noise that sounds like that of music- and with it, can lure the more gullible predators away, all while also helping blind owners know where they're going via the music. This ability is effectively null on the deaf, so Lurcatio may start licking them if they're going the wrong way, but is otherwise useless for such an occasion. |
Cross-Gen Evolutions[edit | edit source]
Evolution requirements won't be stated unless its requirements are different.
Pokémon | Pokédex Description |
---|---|
Yabasuta Greedy Pokémon |
Yabasuta's hunger has reached max limits; endlessly unsatisfied, Yabasutas take on a redder color scheme as it starves further, which not only increases its voltage to peak performance, but turns it into a mindless predator. If worst is to come to worst, Yabusatas are capable of devouring virtually everything, even highly toxic materials, with little to no pain accumulated depending on what it ate. No known solution has been found in subduing this terrifying Pokémon. Evolve from Morpeko upon accumulating 100 overall Hunger Points. |
Regional Variants[edit | edit source]
Overdrive Forms[edit | edit source]
Overdrive Forms replace Mega Evolution and are used on certain Pokémon as to get them a new form. Most of these are based off of something similar, or the exact same concept, except a bit modified.
Overdrive Forms have the exact same mechanic as Mega Evolutions, except it uses Overdrive Energy. Additionally, it is not required to have made the Pokémon enter its Overdrive Form before you can gain Overdrive Energy from them.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Yabasuta is "Yabon hito" and "Hamsuta" combined, matching the fact Morpeko's etymology is possibly from Japanese words.
- Pikachu, Charizard, etc. weren't given Overdrive Forms since Mr. Yokai doesn't want to overly pander to the more popular Pokémon.
- Many of the Flying-types are have their primary type be Flying. This is to up how much primary Flying-types their are... eight.
- Most of the evolutions handed out were to actually make catching certain standalones worth the time and effort. This is mainly because of terrible Pokémon like Smeargle having a max CP that doesn't even break the 1000s, and ones like Emolga who have no justification for being put in 10km eggs and such.
- As for Generation VII and VIII, they were handed out because Mr. Yokai felt like doing so.
- Solutions for making eggs useful included putting them on a timer instead of a kilometer requirement. It was ultimately discarded when Mr. Yokai set things in stone with the eggs.
